The company is engaged in the wholesale distribution of hardware supplies principally in Spain. It was incorporated in the year 1959 and conducts its business from its corporate head office located in Ezkio-Itsaso, Spain. The company is considered as the leading distributors of modern cutting tools and modular clamping and control devices. It offers an array of products categorized in four segments: Ayma, Ayma-Mapal, Ayma-Komet, and Ayma-Arno. The Ayma segment offers solutions for all kind of operations in lathes, milling machines, drilling, boring machines, machining centres, grinding machines, etc, to mechanise materials such as steels, aluminium, titanium, and cast iron. The Ayma-Mapal segment comprises of high precision tools in concept such as boring tools with guide pads, PDC Tipped, HSK clamping systems. The Ayma-Komet consists of ABS modular system, KUB Trigon, KUB Quatron and KUB Duon drills, roughing and fine boring tools, micro adjustable boring heads, generating slide tools. Lastly, the Ayma-Arno segment offers grooving and copying modular system for NC lathes, carbide inserts and turning toolholders.
